This camp, designed for kids ages 6–13, fosters innovation, out of box thinking strategies, problem-solving, and artistic exploration through hands-on design and sewing projects. Melanie encourages every child to let their imagination soar. This is a space to explore colors, textures, and styles freely, embracing their unique vision without limits.
Led by fashion designer & stylist Melanie Steadman, this camp is all about empowering kids with hands-on skills while celebrating their individuality. Children will learn the art of hand-sewing as they bring their creative visions to life, ensuring that every finished fashion piece is sewn by the designer themselves.

Hand-Sewing Mastery – Develop a valuable skill as Melanie teaches hand sewing techniques step by step.
Nature’s Inspiration – Discover Mother Nature’s gifts along the shores of Georgian Bay, collecting treasures like driftwood and shells to craft unique accessories that will compliment their fashion collection.
Shop & Style – Kids will explore Melanie’s curated collection of upcycled fashion pieces and textiles, mixing and matching elements to bring their unique fashion designs to life.
Runway-Ready Designs – Each child will design, sew, and create two stunning fashion pieces to debut in the grand finale fashion show and along with accessories.
Fashion Show Celebration – The last Friday evening of camp, family and friends are invited to an unforgettable showcase, where young designers will proudly present their hard work and creative vision.
